About Us

Smitarts' story began 2 years ago when I was trying to choose a unique gift to surprise my husband on his birthday. My brother suggested me to go for a handmade card and I loved his idea. Brushing off my Quilling skills, I made a beautiful card which was full of expressions which made my husband overjoy with emotions! He was very happy to see my creativity and was surprised that the card was made with newspaper strips! He encouraged me to explore more ways to engage myself in a creative way and I started using my free time judiciously.

I also started painting at home and enjoyed my work. This never stopped. Now days as a house wife, I spend my time in household chores as well but I engage myself doing something new and creative by utilizing leisure time in making paintings, quilling craft and homemade chocolates. To develop my hobby as a profession, Smitarts got founded.
